2nd  Biennial  Educational  Exhibition  Inaugurated , Sohra July 9 th , 2013




Shri  T.W.Chyne, M.L.A & M.D.C  Sohra  inaugurated  today  the  2nd Biennial Educational  Exhibition which  was held at Ramakrishna Mission Hr. Secondary  School  in  the  presence  of  Shri.C.V.D. Diengdoh, Sub-Divisional Officer(C), Sohra  and  other  distinguished  guests. About 51 projects were displayed in the exhibition.

 

Speaking  on  the  occasion, Mr.Chyne  congratulate the school  authorities  for  organizing  such  a  meaningful  programme which  would  benefitted  the  students  of  this  area. He  suggested  that  exhibition  of  this  kind  should  also  include  other  schools  in future. He  said  that  we have  intelligent  students  who impressed  their  thoughts, ideas  and  capabilities through  their  projects. He  said  that  it  is  through  doing  that  students  learns  better. He  therefore  encouraged  students  to  come  forward  and  do  well  in their  studies with  a  hope  that  they  will  not  only  bring  laurels  to  this  area  but  to  the  state  as  a  whole. He  also  assured  that  he  would  render  full  cooperation  in  the  upliftment  of  the  school  for  the  benefit  of  the  students  of  this  area .He  then  announced  the  exhibition  opened  and  felicitated meritorious students  who  secured  top  ranking  position  in  the  S.S.L.C,2013

 

In his speech, Mr Diengdoh said that the unique idea of this exhibition is equal participation of all students. He said that the real purpose of education is to make a better human –being. He therefore inspire students to work hard and realize the true values of education

 

Amongst others who spoke on the occasion were Shri.V.Nianglah, Sub-Inspector of schools, Sohra and Shri.F.Tariang, Rangbah Shnong, Khliehshnong, Sohra.

 

Earlier Shri.Swami Amiteshananda, Principal of Ramakrishna Mission Hr.S. School delivered the welcome address while Shri.M.K.Chakraborty, Asstt. Teacher, Ramakrishna Mission Hr.S. School offered the vote of thanks
